In the first week of December, within the activity Monitoring and evaluation of sub granted initiatives, Mr. Fusaro, Senior project expert, together with Caritas Serbia project team, performed three monitoring visits to the sub-granted projects in Serbia. The goal of this activity was to have a constant screening of the situation at grass-root level, in order to help the management in evaluating the impact of the project. Moreover, the monitoring will allow the detailed analysis of the sustainability elements. The visits on the field and the analysis of the implementation will represent also a sort of advisory service provided by the Management, because it will identify weaknesses and strengths of each proposal.
Mr. Fusaro visited the associations EVO RUKA (Zemun polje), the association Cep za hendikep (Zrenjanin) and the association Zajedno (Subotica). Together with the association leaders and members responsible for project implementation it was discussed about social benefits of their initiatives, economic impact, relations with stakeholders and financial and management components.
At the beginning of February 2019 monitoring visit was organized in Bosnia and Herzegovina. As in Serbia, Mr. Fusaro, joined with local coordinator from Caritas Bosnia and Herzegovina, performed four monitoring visits to the sub-granted projects in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Mr. Fusaro visited the associations ProReha – Center for professional rehabilitation, retraining and training of persons with disabilities and other hard-to-reach groups (Sarajevo), Humanitarian Organization Lotosice (Tuzla) and two associations in Mostar, Association of Parents and Children with Special Needs „Vedri osmijeh“ and Association for the Protection and Promotion of Mental Health In Spe.
Together with the association leaders and members responsible for project implementation it was discussed about social benefits of their initiatives, economic impact, relations with stakeholders and financial and management components.
Similar monitoring visits will take place also in Montenegro and Kosovo in Spring 2019.
