In the framework of the Call for Proposals for subgranting, within the project SOCIETIES – SUPPORT OF CSOS IN EMPOWERING TECHNICAL SKILLS, INCLUSION OF PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES AND EU STANDARDS IN SOUTH EAST EUROPE, Caritas Kosovo received more than 20 applications from various NGOs from Kosovo.
Based on the evaluation of Selection Committee, 4 organizations were selected as winners of the grants:
- Day Center “Pema” with residence in Prishtina and with project in Ferizaj/Urosevac,
- “Center for Independent Life” in Vitomirice-Pej/Pec
- Association of paraplegics and paralysis of children of Gjilan / Gnjilane – Handikos
- NGO “Active” from Mitrovica North .
On 11th of July 2017 the ceremony of signing contracts with grant winning projects was held at Caritas office in Ferizaj/Urosevac.
Contracts were signed by the General Director of Caritas Kosovo Don Viktor Sopi and the representatives of above mentioned civil society organizations.
