🔊 Listen to this The project “SOCIETIES 2 – Support Of CSOs In Empowering Technical skills, Inclusion of people with disabilities and Eu Standards in Western Balkans, 2nd phase” is a multi-annual project financed by European Commission and co-financed by Caritas organizations. The project is financed within the framework of the Civil Society Facility and Media Programme 2018-2019.

The SOCIETIES 2 project has its “core service” in empowering civil society to actively take part in decision making and stimulating an enabling legal and financial environment for civil society and pluralistic media. The project is proposed by alliance for social inclusion, composed by 10 CSOs from  Balkan region: Caritas Serbia, Civic Initiatives, Caritas Bosnia and Herzegovina, Association of Parents and Children with Special Needs “Vedri Osmijeh”, Caritas Albania, Project Hope, Support Centre for Persons with Mental Disabilities – “Centre for Independent living”, Caritas Kosovo, Caritas Montenegro, Association of Paraplegic of Montenegro, with the external support of two EU organizations Caritas Italiana and Caritas Bulgaria.

The partners have worked together on different projects, sharing common values, joint mission and strategies and ones of the most active in the field of social inclusion of disadvantaged groups, experienced in implementing actions for PWDs by promoting social economy and empowerment of CSOs.

SOCIETIES partnership count also on the support of National and Local Authorities and Institutions as Associates, involved from the beginning in the definition and preparation of the project.
